Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse populations. Your expertise will help improve patients' quality of life by implementing personalized therapy plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and engaging families and caregivers. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments for young children.
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, focusing on speech therapy, language therapy, and communication skills enhancement.
• Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques across various settings such as clinics, schools, or via telehealth platforms.
• Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and support progress toward communication goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, session notes, and treatment plans within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Educate patients and families about speech impairments, physiology, anatomy relevant to speech production, and strategies for ongoing support at home or school.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for individuals with complex needs or disabilities.

Requirements

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the respective state or region.
• Proven experience working with children in pediatrics or early intervention programs; experience with school-based settings is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles including anatomy, physiology of speech mechanisms, and comprehensive evaluation techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective speech therapy plans for individuals with speech impairments or language disorders.
• Experience working with diverse populations including pediatric patients, individuals with disabilities, and geriatric patients requiring communication support.
• Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and experience delivering remote services is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to speech-language pathology and patient assessment procedures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
