What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitter position at ABBY MANUFACTURING LLC?
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for receiving, kitting, cycle counting, picking and packing
- Use computer to pull up part numbers and work orders
- Read, understand and match electronic component part numbers to work orders and vice versa
- Pick electronic components to be hand assembled and machine assembled, based upon work order
- Report inventory shortages and damaged materials
- Perform other related duties as instructed
- Ability to correctly label bins or bags with identification information
- Ability to operate a forklift

Qualifications:- Must be highly motivated with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment
- Must have effective communication and organizational skills
- Have innate attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with inventory management and material handling
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Cycle counting experience
- Strong ability to retain training
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
- Promotes teamwork in and around work area
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Position may require bending, kneeling, and stooping
