What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ironworker/Weld Float position at ABBY MANUFACTURING LLC?
Job Responsibilities:
- Setting up and operating a piranha ironworker machine to cut materials to specified dimensions and angles
- Operating a vertical band saw
- Inspecting/Leak Testing hydraulic tanks for leaks/weld faults
- Follow a detailed work instruction for pressure testing
- Complete inspection sheets
- Maintain a clean/safe work environment
- Complete operator PM's daily
- Ensure jobs are staged correctly after completion
- Use proper PPE and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to read tape measures and protractors
- Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping
- Position requires ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and chemicals
- Must be able to use grinder, power tools
- Ability to work in high paced environment
- Ability to use measuring devices for product inspection
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Punctual and dependable attendance record
- Work ethic - A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines
