The Senior Document Control Specialist is responsible for supporting document control and quality system activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role involves working cross-functionally, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting change control processes in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams
- Prepare, review, and maintain compliant documentation in accordance with quality system requirements
- Support document control activities, including document updates, version control, and record management
- Assist in change control processes by identifying needs and providing clear justifications for changes
- Ensure adherence to site-level policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
- Promptly report any compliance concerns to management
- Participate in project-related activities and contribute as a team member
- Apply basic risk management principles to support quality and documentation processes
- Associate’s Degree in Life Sciences or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quality, document control, or a related field
- Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GMP, ISO) is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Basic leadership qualities and initiative
- This is a detail-oriented, execution-focused role
