About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Labor Compliance Analyst to support multiple public agencies in Southern California. The right candidate will be an integral team member ensuring our client’s construction projects are compliant with prevailing wage requirements. This includes review of certified payroll reports and documents, communication with contractors, pre-job meetings, and conducting on-site interviews.
Position Information:
- Full-time, benefits eligible.
- The position is designated as exempt under FLSA and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
- Standard work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may vary based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review payroll, certified payroll reports, and subcontractor documentation for assigned projects.
- Conduct audits and investigations related to labor compliance.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor regulations, including prevailing wage requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide guidance on compliance matters.
- Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports and records.
- Knowledge of Section 3 HUD requirements and LCPtracker is helpful.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in labor compliance, payroll, or a related field.
- Knowledge of labor laws and prevailing wage requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with compliance software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with project teams and clients.
- Bi-lingual is a plus.
