Role Description
Abacus Sports Installations is seeking a Jr. Estimator to assist with sports construction projects. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster, PA. The Jr. Estimator will be responsible for collecting project plans, performing quantity take-offs, assisting in preparing construction estimates, managing cost proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure project budgets and client expectations are met. Additionally, the Jr. Estimator will liaise with clients and vendors to gather required project data and provide clear communication throughout the estimation process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs
- Strong skills in Cost Management and Budgeting
- Excellent Communication abilities to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software and tools
- Educational background in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Experience in the sports or construction industry is preferred
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Sales support for Sales team and coordination with architects and contractors
