2nd Shift Inventory Specialist

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
- Track inventory movement and update records in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and shipping departments to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment as needed.
- Organize and maintain warehouse storage locations for efficient inventory control.
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze trends to improve inventory management.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners when certified.
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures.
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Knowledge of barcode scanning and RFID inventory systems.
- Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
