Our client is a metal-based technology and recycling company. They seek a Logistics Operations Analyst to join their South Plainfield, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop staff through scheduling, training, and performance management
- Enforce adherence to SOPs, security protocols, and compliance requirements
- Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and operational excellence
- Direct daily vault operations, including receiving, verifying, weighing, labeling, and documenting high-value materials
- Control access and uphold strict chain-of-custody procedures at all times
- Organize secure storage systems to ensure efficient material tracking and retrieval
- Execute vault audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy
- Implement high-security standards and ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory requirements
- Maintain audit-ready documentation in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and investigate discrepancies
- Coordinate material flow, logistics, and shipments while ensuring compliance with CBP regulations, customs procedures, and HTS classification
Requirements
- Supervisory or management experience in secure materials handling, vault logistic operations, warehousing, or precious-metals environments
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work effectively in a high-security, regulated, camera-monitored environment
- Experience working with precious metals, high-value materials, or specialized industrial materials
- Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills
- Experience improving processes and implementing operational efficiencies
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs of secured materials
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive handling tasks in secure areas
- Comfortable working in restricted-access, high-security vault environments
