Position Overview
ABA Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly respected BCBA to serve in a clinical training and quality leadership role. This position supports staff development, clinical quality, and consistency in best practices through training, consultation, and structured clinical review. The ideal candidate is passionate about Applied Behavior Analysis, enjoys mentoring others, and is skilled in delivering training and feedback that is both effective and well-received.
Candidate Characteristics
- Strong knowledge of current ABA research, best practices, and ongoing practice issues
- A genuine passion for ABA, ethical practice, and supporting others in their professional growth
- Excellent organization, time-management, and written communication skills
- Confidence and skill as a presenter who fosters engagement and discussion
- A collaborative, approachable style for problem-solving and clinical support
- The ability to work independently while seeking consultation when appropriate
- Strength in coaching, skill-building, and delivering feedback constructively
Qualifications
- BCBA certification with 2 years of post-certification experience
- Employed with ABA Solutions for at least one year
- Currently working in the geographic area where the position is posted
- Preference for full-time staff or those working toward full-time status (minimum average of 15 hours/week considered)
- Completion of the 8-hour BACB Supervision Training
- Active supervision responsibilities, including frequent staff supervision and staff management
- Strong performance history, including:
- Positive performance and supervisory reviews
- Positive feedback from supervisees
- Consistently strong clinical and administrative performance
- Timely and accurate submission of billing and required documentation
Scope of Work & Responsibilities
Training & Staff Support
- Coordinate with Directors and new hires to schedule and deliver monthly in-person trainings
- Provide in-person new-hire training for RBTs, BCaBAs, and BCBAs, including level-change trainings
- Support new staff with general clinical guidance during their first 90 days, as assigned by the Director
- Conduct shadowing and competency checks for new staff and as requested by the director for quality assurance purposes
Clinical Quality & Review
- Complete clinical reviews using funder-specific review rubrics
- Adhere to established review schedules and time allotments
- Serve as a clinical resource for staff navigating treatment plan development, medical necessity documentation, peer review, reconsiderations, and denial responses
- Assist leadership team with agency quality assurance and and funder policy compliance initiatives as needed
Professional Development & Collaboration
- Maintain current knowledge of funder requirements and ABA Solutions clinical policies
- Assist in developing additional training materials based on identified staff needs, such as:
- CEU presentations
- Supplemental trainings
- Clinical handouts or reference materials
- Participate in ongoing collaboration with Clinical Supervisors via Google Chat
- Attend Clinical Supervisor team meetings as requested
