Warehouse Assistant – Full-Time, Year-Round Position

This is a long-term, year-round position. We are not looking for someone who needs a temporary job, plans to leave when school starts, is looking for a short-term stopgap, or already knows they will only be available for a limited period of time.

We are looking for someone who genuinely wants a steady job, wants to work, and wants to become a dependable member of our warehouse team.

Responsibilities

• As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our distribution center, reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include materials handling, shipping and receiving, and utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. With core skills in heavy lifting and warehouse management systems, you will ensure that inventory is accurately processed and organized. Requirements

• Experience operating warehouse equipment including Pallet Jacks and forklift trucks, is preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse operations such as shipping & receiving, order picking & packing, inventory control, and materials handling.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following safety regulations (OSHA standards).
• Basic math skills for counting inventory accurately and processing orders efficiently.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and logistics procedures in helpful.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
