New Hire Requirements
Available to attend employee orientation in-person. New hire orientation will include hands-on training for barista station, cashiering, stocking shelves, washing and packing produce, plus an overview of our company perks, policies, and expectations.
New hires must demonstrate eligibility to work in the United States. Amber Waves is not able to sponsor foreign working visas.
Applicants under the age of 18 must be able to provide copies of working papers and maintain good academic standing in order to be eligible for employment. All scheduled shifts for minors will be in compliance with local labor laws.
We’re a farm: All positions require physical demands including: standing/walking for long periods of time over uneven surfaces; exposure to heat, cold, or wet environments, working in and outdoors with exposure to the elements, repetitive motion such as lifting, kneeling, or bending; and carrying up to 50lbs at a time, with or without assistance.

Stock Associate, Year-round
Job Description:
Amber Waves Farm is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic year-round Stock Associate to join our Market team. This role is essential to keeping our market well-stocked, organized, and running efficiently while ensuring a positive experience for customers. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. They should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for Amber Waves' mission and values.
Core Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate and properly stored.
Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices and routinely check product dates to maintain freshness and quality.
Monitor cooler and storage inventory, rotating products and removing items nearing expiration as needed.
Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, and displays throughout the market.
Ensure all products are accurately priced, labeled, and merchandised.
Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe back-of-house storage areas, coolers, and market floor.
Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers as needed.
Assist with inventory organization and communicate stock needs to management.
Support other departments, including retail, kitchen, or farm operations, during slower seasons or as business needs require.
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and support multiple departments as needed.
Previous retail, grocery, warehouse, or food service experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time: 32-40 hrs/week. Must be available to work one weekend day
Year-round position: $17.00 - $20.00/HR, depending on experience
