BCBA Job Description
The Clinical Supervisor (BCBA) is responsible for clinical oversight, treatment planning, and supervision of ABA services. The BCBA ensures ethical, data-driven, and individualized care for each client.
BCBA Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) as a BCBA
- Perform skill and behavioral assessments as a BCBA
- Develop individualized ABA treatment plans as a BCBA
- Design and monitor behavior intervention plans as a BCBA
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) as a BCBA
- Ensure treatment fidelity and clinical quality as a BCBA
- Analyze client data and modify treatment programs as a BCBA
- Provide parent training and caregiver education as a BCBA
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers as a BCBA
- Complete all clinical documentation as a BCBA in compliance with BACB, payer, and Georgia regulations
Part-time BCBA requirement: Part-time BCBAs must maintain a minimum of 10 billable hours per week.
BCBA Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Active BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
- 1–2 years of experience working as a BCBA preferred
- Experience supervising RBTs as a BCBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and ethical standards
- Excellent communication, organization, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote BCBA role
