Preschool Teacher / Group Instructor
ABA Interventions – Knoxville, TN
ABA Interventions is committed to helping children and teens diagnosed with Autism develop the skills they need to thrive. We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and engaging Preschool Teacher / Group Instructor to lead and facilitate learning opportunities for young children in a supportive, collaborative environment.
The primary responsibility of this position is leading a preschool group that meets Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, providing structured, developmentally appropriate instruction and activities that promote school readiness, communication, social interaction, play, and early learning skills.
In addition to the preschool group, the teacher may plan and facilitate a variety of specialized groups in the afternoons, including:
- Social Skills Groups
- Reading Intervention Groups
- Math Intervention Groups
- Life Skills Groups
- Play-Based Learning Groups
Responsibilities include planning and implementing engaging lessons and activities, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, tracking student progress, collaborating with clinical and educational team members, and supporting the individualized developmental needs of children with Autism.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching preschool, kindergarten, or elementary-aged children required
- Experience planning and leading groups for children required
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Passion for helping children develop social, academic, and functional life skills
- Special Education teachers are strongly encouraged to apply
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Complete RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within the first two months.
- Teaching experience with Math and Reading

Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the building.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds at times.
- Must be able to assist clients who have physical difficulties.
- Must be able to kneel, sit, stand, crawl, run, push, and pull to assist and teach throughout the day.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer to complete necessary paperwork.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
