What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Specialist position at AB Litigation Services?
Document Specialist needed for a busy litigation services firm in downtown Denver. Position involves creating and maintaining electronic files as well as physical copying and scanning of court-related and other documents using production level copier/printers and scanners.
Duties include database entry, document binding, printing, scanning and electronic file management. Additionally, this position assists clients and staff with document requests both over the phone and in person. Night and weekend work, although rare, may be required to meet deadlines. Normal hours are 730a-5p Monday through Friday under a flex-time schedule. Flex-time is earned weekly allowing for either an additional day off every 2 weeks or a 1/2 day off weekly.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be computer savvy, have a strong attention to detail, great communication skills, reliable, and able to handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Experience with Adobe Acrobat or other document software is beneficial as this position requires daily production and editing of PDF documents. Experience in the legal industry, while beneficial, is not required.
This is an entry-level full-time position. In addition to the benefits listed, we also provide parking reimbursement assistance or monthly RTD transportation.
