An opportunity based in Miami, FL, is available for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to play a key role in supporting a property management’s financial operations. This position involves preparing reports, resolving discrepancies, assisting with payroll, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
Responsibilities:- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice entry, coding, and payment.
- Generate and reconcile reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies.
- Support payroll preparation and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with policies and accounting best practices.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related accounting functions.
- Proficiency with Buildium or other accounting/property management software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related office software.
