Roles Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role provides essential support to both our Operations and Sales, maintaining cost-effective and efficient procurement operations.
Core Responsibilities
Procurement Responsibilities
- Provides support in managing the flow of goods, including material sourcing, transportation and customer delivery.
- Identifies reliable suppliers and maintains strong supplier relationships.
- Monitors and maintains inventory levels to meet customer demand without overstocking
- Pull parts as necessary to complete customer orders and restocks orders as necessary
- Manages inventory and checks product in and out of the system
- Tracks shipments to ensure on-time delivery and efficient handling of goods
- Manages outgoing and incoming shipments using Radiant, DHL, UPS & FedEx and serves as the main point of contact for all incoming packages- including approving intercompany shipments.
- Creates all delivery notes for all outgoing packages
- Updates support contracts in ISO (internal system)
- Prepares purchase requisitions and purchase orders to meet customer order demands following proper approval process for timely delivery of orders to suppliers.
- Tracks customer orders and delivers shipment estimates, tracking numbers and proof of delivery.
- Orders office supplies as needed including snacks and also manages the water delivery service.
- Serves as back up to the sales team by creating quotes, quotes to order, ensuring that all details are attached to the customer order properly before releasing the order.
- Incorporate safe work practices into your daily activities and immediately reporting near misses, hazards or injuries
- Adhere to all company health and safety policies and procedures
- Complete required safety training, attending scheduled meetings.
- Prior experience in procurement, purchasing or logistics desirable but not mandatory- training will be provided
- An enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take on new challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with suppliers and internal associates
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis
