Consultant's Title: Junior Python Developer (AI/GenAI Focus)
Work Location: West Chester, PA
Responsibilities:
- Support development and maintenance of backend services and APIs using Python
- Assist in building and testing AI/GenAI prototypes and lightweight use cases
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical tasks
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Participate in code reviews and apply feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Support deployment activities and learn cloud/DevOps fundamentals
- Stay current with AI-assisted development tools and emerging technologies
Required Skills:
- Foundational Python development experience (academic, internship, or early career)
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code)
- Basic understanding of APIs and RESTful services
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills:
- Exposure to FastAPI or Flask
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Introductory understanding of AI/ML or Generative AI (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.)
