We’re looking for a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician to join a community-focused Emergency Department in Cleveland, Texas. You’ll work alongside a dedicated team in a collaborative, supportive environment, seeing a varied caseload and making an immediate difference for patients in the local community.
What you’ll do
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions.
- Perform emergency procedures consistent with Emergency Medicine practice and stabilizing critically ill or injured patients.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests to guide timely care.
- Coordinate with consulting specialists and hospital staff to ensure smooth patient transitions and continuity of care.
- Accurately document clinical encounters in the electronic medical record.
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced setting while maintaining clear communication with patients and colleagues.
What we’re looking for
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
- Active Texas medical license or the ability to obtain licensure in Texas.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS certifications, as required.
