The Corporate and Foundation Giving Manager engages in work associated with fundraising campaigns for the organization. Designs and implements organization-wide donor relations and the stewardship system to promote interaction with and recognition of donors at all levels. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline fundraising processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the identification, cultivation, solicitation and/or stewardship of the donors and prospective donors assigned within their respective donor/prospect pool or fundraising channel.
  • Participates in the effort to establish an effective case for support (value proposition) and provides feedback on how it resonates with their respective assigned prospective donor pool.
  • Manages aspects of the fundraising process (e.g., identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, systems/processing, stewardship) within their respective donor/prospect pool or function.
  • Manages appropriate resources and processes to help ensure personal and departmental success in meeting organizational and personal objectives and goals.
  • Achieves fundraising goals and expectations as defined.
  • Performs duties in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and board policies (e.g., gift acceptance) pertaining to gifts, contributions, grants and other charitable support raised.
  • Adheres to ethical standards established by Association of Fundraising Professionals and National Association of Charitable Gift Planners.

Qualifications

  • 3 years plus fundraising experience, cultivating soliciting, and stewarding Corporate and foundation institutional funders.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience soliciting and securing corporate, foundation or institutional gifts of $25,000.00 or more.
  • Strong ability to manage all aspects of the fundraising process, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, processing, and stewardship.

Preferred

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree.

Hybrid Work Environment

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as remote workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work can only be done within the United States and its territories.

Salary : $90,500 - $100,000
