Occupational Therapist Coordinator

As the Occupational Therapist Coordinator, you’ll lead a collaborative team dedicated to supporting students with special needs. Your leadership ensures high-quality therapy services, strong partnerships with families and staff, and a safe, innovative environment for student growth.

This position is a 12-month position and is for immediate hire.

What You'll Need

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and NYS certification
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in Occupational Therapy
• Demonstrated passion for special education and student success
• Collaborative approach and experience working with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
  

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and oversee all operations of the OT department, reporting to the principal
• Responsible for caseload, report writing, and caregiver communication
• Deliver OT related classroom instruction sessions
• Supervise and mentor OT staff, conduct meetings, and lead department training
• Manage scheduling, assessments, and individualized caseloads for students
• Ensure safety and maintenance of the OT Gym, Fine Motor Room, and adaptive equipment
• Build strong partnerships with families, teachers, and outside providers to support each student's goals

Compensation Range: $90K - $95K
