We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of the law, and the ability to manage multiple cases effectively. In this role, you will assist attorneys in all phases of cases from inception to resolution.
Responsibilities
- Managing client files from intake/treatment through settlement
- Maintaining regular communication with clients regarding treatment progress and case status
- Requesting, reviewing, and organizing medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Communicating with medical providers and insurance companies as needed throughout the life of the case
- Preparing case summaries, medical chronologies, and demand-related documentation
- Assisting attorneys with case development and keeping files organized and progressing efficiently
- Monitoring case activity and ensuring all necessary documentation is received and updated timely
- Maintaining professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive client information
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal.
- Strong knowledge of laws and regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research, document preparation, and case management software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
