Seeking an experienced paralegal in a solo general practice handling numerous cases. The paralegal should have the ability to analyze evidence, identify legal issues and take appropriate action on numerous files. The candidate must be able to draft pleadings and discovery, and prepare outlines and exhibits for hearings and trials. Great communication skills are required. Experience as a paralegal and education will determine the amount of starting pay. Excellent performance will result in increased pay and bonuses.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents.
- Draft letters to clients.
- Work with little supervision.
- Legal research and insight on legal issues.
- Answer phone calls and emails.
- Excellent typing and computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
