As the Facilities / Office Manager with Aardvark Studios, you will oversee the daily operations of our headquarters and warehouses, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and safe environment that supports both creative and operational teams. This role is perfect for a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing administrative precision with a can-do attitude.
QUALIFICATIONS
What makes you the ideal candidate:
- 5 years of experience in office or facilities management, preferably in a production, manufacturing, or creative studio environment
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and be hands-on as needed
- Proven track record of maintaining a professional, safe, and efficient work environment
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and organization of office and warehouse areas
- Manage facility vendors (cleaning, waste removal, security, landscaping, HVAC, etc.)
- Coordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and building regulations
- Manage and track key systems—HVAC, utilities, security systems, fire suppression, etc
- Manage day-to-day office operations including opening, amenities, supplies, mail, and office equipment
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries, and general inquiries
- Support leadership with office logistics, meeting setup, and company event coordination
- Maintain safety records
- Partner with leadership to ensure employees follow office safety procedures
- Lead periodic safety audits and emergency drills
