This is an on-site, full-time position located in Medford, MA. The Geotechnical Field Engineer will be responsible for conducting fieldwork such as soil and material testing, preparing detailed field reports, performing construction inspections, and analyzing geotechnical data. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, coordinating with project teams, and providing technical support as needed, all aimed at ensuring the success of geotechnical engineering projects.
- Experience with Field Service and Technical Support to manage on-site tasks effectively
- Strong Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving skills to address fieldwork challenges
- Excellent Communication skills for clear interaction with teams, contractors, and clients
- Knowledge of Project Management principles for coordinating tasks and meeting project deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
- Understanding of industry standards and safety regulations
- Proficiency in soil and construction material testing equipment
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
