Assembler Job Description

Summary:

The primary responsibility of the position is to assemble all AaLadin products in an accurate and efficient manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work from drawings to assemble AaLadin products.
• Exceed the production requirements set for each product.
• Organize and maintain drawings in an efficient manner.
• Maintain a neat and clean work environment.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures and safety regulations
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED, previous sheet metal experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and blueprints.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Continually required to stand
• Frequently required to walk
• Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
• Occasionally required to talk or hear
• Occasionally work around fumes & airborne particles.
• While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
• The employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 33 pounds
• Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Forklift

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

• This is a full-time position.
• Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Fridays 6:30 a.m. to 10:15 am Schedule may vary depending on workload.

Travel:

Not required.

Compensation:

Aaladin will provide the following compensation & benefits:

• $17.50 per hour
• 401(k) w/ a 50 percent match up to 4%
