Responsibilities
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, b, and equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) equipment in accordance with safety standards
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate installation and servicing
- Collaborate with project managers, property maintenance teams, and other trades such as plumbing and welding to complete projects efficiently
- Diagnose mechanical problems related to refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, or appliance repair tasks in various settings
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference
Requirements
- Proven experience as a service technician or installer in the HVAC industry with a strong mechanical background
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles, schematics, and system components including boilers, refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, and ammonia refrigeration
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, welding techniques, and property maintenance tasks
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately; familiarity with HVAC/R standards is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating
drivers preferred for transportation between sites - Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with appliance repair or boiler systems is a plus
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with field service expertise; ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
