Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities as per the skilled nurse’s plan.
- Maintain personal hygiene and assist with bathing and dressing.
- Perform household chores to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals as instructed by the nurse.
- Provide emotional and physiological support to patients and their families.
- Assist with ambulation and rehabilitative processes as directed.
- Communicate any changes in the patient’s condition to supervisors.
- Attend required in-service training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA).
- Must speak English fluently.
- Valid ID and Social Security Card.
- Two professional references.
- Physical exam and up-to-date immunizations (MMR).
- Tuberculosis test and drug screening.
- Must be able to commute to the patient’s home.
