Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Home Health Aide located in Garden City, NY. The Home Health Aide will assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and basic healthcare-related tasks. Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. The role also involves providing companionship, fostering emotional support, and ensuring the client's safety and well-being.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Home Care and Patient Care skills
- Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (e.g., feeding, mobility, hygiene)
- Experience in providing Personal Care (e.g., bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Strong Communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals
- Current Home Health Aide certification (HHA) or equivalent, as per state requirements
