Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Home Health Aide based in Garden City, NY. The Home Health Aide will assist patients with daily living activities, provide personal care, and carry out patient care plans designed to meet individual needs. Responsibilities may include helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Home Care and Patient Care, with the ability to assist clients with health-related needs in their homes.
- Experience with Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance.
- Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Capability to provide Personal Care while maintaining respect and dignity for all clients.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent qualifications.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a dedication to ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
