You’ll be welcomed like a full-time Staff Accountant with the opportunity to tackle real projects, learn from smart (and friendly) people, and build skills that’ll set you apart when senior year—and job offers—roll around.

What You’ll Do (and Learn)

• Team up with professionals on audit engagements for a variety of businesses.
• Put your classroom knowledge to work: analyze numbers, prepare financials, and see how theory meets practice.
• Get a taste of different services: compilations, reviews, and audits(don’t stress, we’ll guide you).
• Build confidence by delivering quality work with support from your mentors.
• Boost your tech skills using Excel, audit software, and other automation tools.
• Learn what makes our firm unique (hint: it’s our people, our culture, and our clients).
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• On track to complete your Accounting Degree by 2027. Or you have completed an Accounting Degree with 0-1 years’ experience.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly.
• Exposure to tools such as Excel.
• Curiosity, motivation, and enthusiasm for learning audit from the inside out.

The hourly range for this position reflects a broad set of factors considered in compensation decisions, including—but not limited to—skills, experience, training, certifications, and overall business needs. The stated range has not been adjusted for geographic differentials that may apply based on the position’s location. At AAFCPAs, it is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, as compensation decisions are based on each candidate’s specific background and circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current hourly range for this role is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
