What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at AAC Technologies?
AAC is looking for an experienced and energetic, detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger accounting, payroll administration using ADP Workforce Now Next Gen, month-end close activities, and supporting cross-functional financial operations. The Senior Accountant will work closely with both U.S.-based leadership and our finance team in China to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll using ADP Workforce Now (Next Gen)
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Manage employee payroll changes, deductions, garnishments, and benefits-related payroll transactions
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare payroll-related journal entries
- Partner with Human Resources to ensure accurate employee data and payroll processing
- Collaborate regularly with the finance and accounting team in China to support consolidated reporting and financial operations
- Participate in cross-functional projects that support international business growth and process improvements
- Coordinate reporting schedules and financial data exchange between global teams
- Assist with intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
- Support external audits and coordinate requests from auditors and tax advisors
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting policies
- Customer communication and information transmission, risk identification and control, report on project progress, problem points and solutions
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
- Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Participate in ERP system enhancements, accounting automation initiatives, and process improvement projects
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to management
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Hands-on payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now (Next Gen).
- Mandarin language skills are required.
- Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with international teams across different time zones.
- Experience working for a multinational or China-based organization.
- Experience with intercompany accounting and consolidations
Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
