30% Insurance Accounting: Prepare and post revenue per commission statements by carrier. Maintain and update recurring management reports, including the daily new business report, monthly policy count report, and carrier book of business report. Reconcile insurance accounts including, but not limited to, commissions receivables, bank accounts, and cash clearing.
25% Budget & Forecast: Assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual budget process for the Club. Collaborate with Insurance management on budget and forecast assumptions and then prepare Member’s Insurance Budget/Forecast based on defined assumptions. Monitors Member’s Insurance budget throughout the year and investigate monthly variances from budget. Prepare forecasts as deemed necessary by the officers of the club.
25% General Accounting: Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries in accordance with GAAP. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Support month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance. Contribute to various Club projects and initiatives aimed at driving operational success.
10% Incentives: Assist management with review of insurance manager, supervisor, advisor and concierge incentive payout files.
10% Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Prepare financial schedules for external auditors. Responsible for updating and analyzing monthly account detail reports. Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and analysis as requested by management.

Job Specific Requirements
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook and business Line systems
- Solid reasoning and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to perform routine office tasks that includes operating a computer for long periods of time, sitting, filing and communicating on the phone
- Ability to perform all physical functions consistent with travel including sitting in airplanes and driving for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull a maximum of 30 lbs
