What are the responsibilities and job description for the AFH RESIDENT MANAGER position at AAA Shepherd’s Care Home?
We are currently looking to add a qualified Resident Manager to our expanding team at our new and upcoming location which will serve the aging people with disabilities population.
This is a live-in position requiring the manager to be active in the home 5 days a week, 24 hours a day. To support our Resident Manager, additional staff is provided 24 hours a day, maintaining a caregiver-to-resident ratio of 2:5. A night shift caregiver is always on duty to ensure the Resident Manager receives adequate sleep and rest. Additionally, our active administrator is heavily involved in day-to-day operations to assist with care coordination.
We prefer a Level 3 Resident Manager but will consider candidates qualified at Level 2.
The successful applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Permitted to work in the USA
- Fluent in English
- Verifiable references
- Basic computer skills (for electronic MARs, online faxing, and digital workflows)
- Current certifications in the following:
- Ensuring Quality Care
- CPR and First Aid
- Pre-service Dementia
- Providing Inclusive Care
- Home Based Community Care
- 6 Rights of Medication
- Fire Safety
The salary for this position is $6,000 per month, with living expenses covered, including rent, utilities, Wi-Fi, basic household items, and food. The living quarters include a private upstairs room, living space, and a full bathroom.
We do offer paid sick time that can also be used for vacation or personal time off.
