Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, O&M certified Septic Inspection Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service while managing a physically demanding role. This position involves inspecting septic systems, troubleshooting septic issues, completing service reports, and interacting with customers. This role can require digging to uncover septic tank lids and lifting and maneuvering of lids weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as safe and efficient driving across multiple stops per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned daily jobs, ensuring all services are completed safely and on time.
• Inspect septic systems according to quality and sanitation standards.
• Educate customers on septic system functions and required maintenance.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Complete accurate and timely reports for inspection services.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients onsite.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License (CDL preferred, but not required).
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing (in accordance with federal DOT regulations).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of your role, and stay organized throughout the day.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
• Familiarity with Mason County and surrounding areas is an asset, but training will be provided.
