Route Driver

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Route Driver to join our Portable Restroom team as a float driver. This role is a temporary position through March of 2026 with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service. This position involves servicing portable restrooms, completing deliveries and pick-ups of restrooms, and interacting with customers. This role requires pushing, pulling, and maneuvering portable restrooms weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as safe and efficient driving across multiple stops per day.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute assigned daily jobs, ensuring all services are completed safely and on time.
• Clean portable restrooms according to quality and sanitation standards.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients onsite.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid Drivers License.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing (in accordance with federal DOT regulations).
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the day.
• Positive attitude, dependable, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
• Familiarity with Mason County and surrounding areas is an asset, but training will be provided.

Work Environment & Schedule

• This position is a route driving role based out of our Shelton yard.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday with a start time of 6:30am to 7:00am, depending on the season. May occasionally assist with urgent calls outside of standard hours when serving as on call driver on a rotating basis.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting Wage: $20-$22/hour, based on experience
• Paid time off includes vacation time, sick leave, and safety pay to cover days our office closes due to inclement weather.
• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, eligible on the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment. Employee medical insurance premiums are 90% paid by the employer.
• 401k retirement plan with a 3% employer contribution, eligible after first year of employment.
• Bonus program, eligible after first year of employment.
