Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse Miami Dade

AAA Home Health Services is looking to add staff in the capacity of LPN's to service patients in their home in Miami-Dade. AAA Home Health Services, Inc. provides competitive wages and a flexible schedule. This is a per diem job and full time work is not guaranteed. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to assigned patients based on nursing standards and under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and/or a Registered Nurse designee. 

• Ensures quality and safe delivery of home health services to patients/clients and families/caregivers. • Implements plan of care formulated by physician and Registered Nurse. 

• Provides accurate and timely documentation consistent with plan of care. 

• Assesses and provides patient/client and family caregiver education and information pertinent to diagnosis and plan of care. 

• Maintains safe and healthy working environment and uses safe work methods and procedures in accordance with company clinical standards. 

• Participates in coordination of home health services with Registered Nurse and clinical management. 

• Assists patient in learning appropriate self-care activities • Uses equipment and supplies effectively and efficiently. 

• Documents and reports activity as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Licensed Practical Nurse in state of practice. Graduate of an accredited practical nurse program. At least one year of nursing experience. Community/home health experience preferred. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must Speak English, bilingual preferred. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
