AAA Central Penn is looking for a Customer Service-Oriented Service Technician to join our Automotive team. Service Technicians help our members whose cars have decided to "take a nap" along the road.
Guess what?! No automotive experience is necessary! Training will be provided!
This role is considered Essential Duty Personnel, which means you are the one we count on when it matters most. You will work as scheduled—including weekends and holidays—rain, snow, or shine!
We are currently hiring for second shift positions based out of our Harrisburg and Lancaster locations. If you are ready to take on a role where reliability and leadership truly make a difference, we would love to have you on our team!

How You Will Contribute to Our One of a Kind Work Culture
- Perform roadside assistance like on-scene evaluations, unlocking vehicles, changing flat tires, delivering fuel, and fixing minor issues (yes, even replacing windshield wipers!).
- Handle battery services—test, diagnose, prep, install, explain warranties, and complete documentation like a pro.
- Help customers understand their service options and introduce them to all the great AAA Central Penn products and services.
- Make smart decisions independently while following company policies and AAA Quality Standards.
- Report any defects or concerns promptly to your supervisor.
- Maintain your assigned vehicle and tools, inspect equipment daily, and ensure safety systems are good to go.
- Provide positive, professional, and empathetic experiences every time—urgency and care matter!
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A clean driving record and a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license—safety first!
- Previous customer service experience and a genuine passion for helping people in need.
