Responsibilities
- Locate and pick auto parts from warehouse inventory based on order requirements.
- Safely transport auto parts between buildings and departments within company property.
- Deliver parts to designated staging and shipping areas efficiently and accurately.
- Inspect parts prior to shipment to identify any damage, defects, or discrepancies.
- Report quality concerns and work with the Quality Control team to resolve issues.
- Assist in preparing parts for packaging and shipment to customers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse, production, sales, and management teams to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in required safety trainings and promote a strong safety culture.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify part issues or damage.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable standing, walking, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn, be coached, and take on new responsibilities.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or quality experience is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with auto parts is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus; training will be provided if needed.
