What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Caregiver (You Must be Currently Caring for Elderly or Disabled Family Member) position at AAA Advantage Home Care?
This position is only available for people currently caring for a family member who is elderly or disabled
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide daily care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to the family member.
- Monitor and report any changes in the family member’s health or behavior to healthcare professionals.
- Coordinate with other family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
**Qualifications:**
- Currently taking care of a family member, demonstrating hands-on experience in caregiving.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the physical and emotional demands of caregiving.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred.
