What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service/Desktop Technician II position at A3 Staffing Solutions?
Responsibilities:
Provide onsite support for IT equipment including POS systems, desktops, printers, access points, and network devices
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Perform installations, upgrades, and break/fix support
Support copper and fiber cabling, including basic terminations
Document all work, updates, and resolutions in ticketing systems
Travel daily (route-based travel)
Work with remote teams to resolve escalated technical issues
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications:
1 year of IT technical support or field technician experience
CompTIA A (preferred)
Experience with Windows, MS Office
Familiarity with networking fundamentals and IT hardware
Experience with cabling (copper/fiber) is a plus
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license required
