Puri-T Welding & Fabrication is a growing structural steel welding shop looking for an experienced Shop Welder/Fabricator to join our team. If you have experience fitting, fabricating, and welding structural steel and take pride in producing quality work, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience
• Ability to read and interpret structural steel shop drawings
• Structural steel fabrication and welding experience preferred
• Proficient in GMAW-S and FCAW-G
• Experience fitting, laying out, and assembling structural steel components
• Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment including saws, ironworkers, drills, grinders, and overhead cranes
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret shop drawings to fabricate structural steel components
• Fit, tack, and weld structural steel and miscellaneous metal products
• Verify dimensions and maintain quality throughout the fabrication process
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with shop supervisors and team members to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
