Job Description:

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Installer to maintain and repair our customers' air quality systems. The HVAC Installer will install, repair, maintain systems, and replace various components if needed. You will diagnose problems, explain these to customers in clear, non-technical terms, relay costs to customers, and offer solutions.

To ensure success your customer skills should be as good as your technical aptitude. Top candidates are detail-oriented, organized and friendly.

Job requirements:

1. System Installation

• Installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to specifications.
• Setting up ductwork, vents, and air distribution systems for proper airflow.

2. Reading Blueprints and Specifications

• Understanding system layouts, measurements, and schematics.
• Following manufacturer guidelines and project requirements to ensure proper installation.

3. Connecting Electrical and Gas Lines

• Ensuring safe and secure connections for power and fuel supply.
• Following electrical codes and safety standards to prevent hazards.

4. Testing System Performance

• Checking for airflow efficiency, refrigerant levels, and potential leaks.
• Calibrating thermostats and control systems for optimal performance.

5. Ensuring Compliance with Safety Codes

• Following local, state, and federal regulations for HVAC system installations.
• Making sure systems meet energy efficiency and safety standards.

6. Educating Customers

• Explaining how to operate and maintain their HVAC system.
• Providing basic troubleshooting tips and maintenance schedules.

HVAC installers need a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and customer service skills to succeed in their roles.

Preferred requirements:

• NATE certified

• EPA certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Experience:

• HVAC: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
