The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete plumbing tasks efficiently.
- Perform pipe threading and assembly for various plumbing installations.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
- Collaborate with construction teams on new builds or remodeling projects to ensure proper plumbing integration.
- Handle heavy lifting as required for installation or removal of plumbing fixtures and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
- Background Check including drug test will be processed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience in carpentry or maintenance person tasks is advantageous.
- Previous construction site experience is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of site safety protocols.
