This is a full-time, on-site role for an AP Biology Tutor located in Los Angeles, CA. The AP Biology Tutor will be responsible for planning and delivering individualized lesson plans to help students excel in AP Biology. Daily tasks include conducting tutoring sessions, addressing student challenges, and tracking progress to ensure academic success. Collaboration with other educators and providing support for students preparing for exams and coursework will also be key components of this role.
- Expertise in Biology, specifically AP Biology content and concepts
- Strong skills in Tutoring and Online Tutoring to engage and support students effectively
- Proficiency in Mathematics to provide interdisciplinary support when needed
- Excellent Communication skills for clear instruction and fostering student understanding
- Prior experience in teaching or tutoring at the high school or college level is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
