Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector in the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods, while maintaining accurate records to comply with company and customer documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming raw materials and complete appropriate documentation to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements and specifications
- Conduct pre-production inspections to ensure processes are correct before production begins
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and procedures
- Conduct final inspections of finished products to confirm all operations and documentation are complete for shipment
- Maintain inspection fixtures, gauges, and measuring devices to ensure accurate measurements and proper documentation
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy
- Prepare required documentation for shipment.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: College degree preferred but not required
- Experience: 1–3 years of on-the-job training as a Quality Inspector; 3 years of related experience required
- Bilingual: English/ Spanish. Must be able to read and write in English (Required)
- Skills & Abilities: Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills; excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities; ability to gather and evaluate information with minimal supervision.
