Position Summary: The Compressor Technician will participate in the installation, maintenance, and inspection of compressed air and vacuum systems and associated processes in a heavy industrial, manufacturing facility.
Role and Responsibilities:
Daily attendance at heavy industrial, manufacturing facility in RI;
Extensive troubleshooting of all site-wide compressed air and vacuum systems;
Analyzing problems and identify corrective measures;
Frequently checking blueprints;
Obtaining supplies and spare parts, understanding repair manuals and parts catalogs;
Review specifications, conduct site inspections, review system design and drawings;
Must maintain strict adherence to safety rules and quality;
Additional duties as directed by job site foreman, project manager, and supervisor
Essential Skills & Characteristics:
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
Salary : $32 - $42
