Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The hours are Monday- Friday from 9:30-5:30. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging classroom environment. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating young children, guiding their development, and preparing them for future learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages creativity and curiosity.
- Educate students on basic concepts such as numbers, letters, colors, and shapes through interactive activities.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a collaborative educational experience.
- Maintain classroom discipline while promoting positive behavior among students.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall curriculum and ensure consistency in teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and staff members.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or special education techniques is a plus.
