The Role We are looking for a strategic, well-connected Business Development Professional to launch and lead our Las Vegas, NV office. This is a unique opportunity for a "player-coach" who possesses a deep roster of active relationships within the Fortune 1000 sector. The ideal candidate will not only understand the nuances of AV/IT integration but will also have the executive presence to navigate complex enterprise environments and secure long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Market Leadership: Serve as the primary face of A-V Services in the Las Vegas, NV region, establishing a local office footprint and driving brand awareness within the technology corridor.
• Enterprise Growth: Leverage an existing "book of business" and deep-seated industry contacts to secure large-scale AV integration and onsite managed service contracts with Fortune 1000 companies.
• Strategic Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors including enterprise, medical, hospitality, and education.
• Consultative Selling: Analyze client requirements to provide comprehensive solutions spanning hardware, software, peripherals, and ongoing technical support.
• Relationship Management: Foster and maintain C-suite and Director-level relationships, ensuring A-V Services is the partner of choice for all collaboration and networking needs.
• Full Sales Lifecycle: Manage the entire process from initial discovery and technical needs analysis to negotiation and final closing.

Requirements & Behaviors

• Established Network: A substantial and verifiable track record of success selling to Fortune 1000 clients, with a focus on those headquartered or maintaining major operations in the Las Vegas, NV area.
• Industry Expertise: 5 years of success in business development specifically within the Audio-Visual or closely related technology integration sector (IT, Networking, or UC).
• Entrepreneurial Drive: The motivation to run a regional office with a high degree of autonomy and the discipline to manage multiple complex accounts simultaneously.
• Interpersonal Excellence: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for stakeholders.
• Adaptability: A keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends, including the latest developments in AI-integrated AV and cloud-based collaboration tools.
