A-V Services Inc., a leading AV company with multiple fortune 100 contracts within the financial, pharmaceutical and computing industry, seeks an A/V Testing and Verification Technician. Must have great customer service with emphasis supporting the corporate work sector. Additionally, comprehensive audio video skills. An ideal candidate would have an Associates level college degree in a technology related field and/or minimum 5 years of previous employment with AV support responsibilities in the AV industry. Our team values technical expertise, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach. We are seeking a dedicated Testing and Verification Technician to ensure our AV systems meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
The ideal candidate will perform comprehensive testing, verification, and quality assurance on AV systems and equipment. You will work closely with installation / fabrication teams and programming department. Support documentation, and client needs to ensure that all AV systems operate flawlessly and meet project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher in a technology-related field OR minimum 5 years of experience in AV system testing, verification, or support
- In-depth knowledge of AV systems including projection/display, control systems (Crestron, Extron, QSC), switching, routing, and conferencing technologies
- Experience in verifying system functionality, troubleshooting, and documenting test results
Core Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of AV system installation and support procedures
- Ability to read and interpret AV flow diagrams and technical documentation
- Familiarity with AV equipment such as projection systems, display devices, and control interfaces
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to operate A/V and Telcom testing equipment.
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed protocols and accurately record test results
- Capable of working independently or leading a small team during testing phases
- Flexibility to work outside of regular hours as needed
