Outbound Event Inventory Specialist (Part-Time)
Pay: $18/hour
Location: Dillsburg, PA
Schedule: Part-time — Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (Second Shift)
About the Role
We are a growing wedding and event rental company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Outbound Event Inventory Specialist to prepare and stage orders for upcoming events.
This role is responsible for ensuring that every order leaves our warehouse accurate, complete, well-organized, and safely loaded for transport. You’ll play a key part in making sure events run smoothly by setting up drivers and customers for success.

Responsibilities
- Pick inventory accurately based on order sheets
- Learn and navigate warehouse storage systems and layouts
- Stage orders in an organized and efficient manner for loading
- Verify quantities and ensure all items are included before loading
- Load vehicles efficiently, maximizing space and ensuring items are secure
- Safely handle glassware, dishware, furniture, and event equipment
- Assist with customer pickups and provide a positive, helpful experience
- Communicate clearly with drivers and team members about orders and changes
- Maintain clean, organized staging and warehouse areas
- Follow systems, checklists, and processes for order accuracy
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed

- Orders are picked accurately with minimal errors
- Loads are organized, secure, and efficient (no damage in transit)
- Staging areas remain clean and easy to navigate
- Drivers can load quickly because orders are well-prepared
- Customers have a smooth, professional pickup experience

What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail — accuracy is critical
- Ability to follow systems, processes, and checklists
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift 40–60 lbs regularly
- Ability to push/pull items on wheels up to 70 lbs
- Organized and able to work efficiently under time pressure
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Basic customer service skills for in-person pickups
Bonus (Not Required)
- Warehouse, fulfillment, or order picking experience
- Experience loading trucks or trailers
- Event rental, catering, or logistics experience
- Familiarity with inventory systems or scanning tools
- Experience handling fragile items (glassware, décor, etc.)
