We are a Community based Adult Day Program that serves developmentally disabled adults.
We are looking for responsible and caring staff members that can bring the best out of our consumers. Our program was created to further benefit the social needs of our consumers. We provide services to people with disabilities by taking them to community outings (such as parks, bowling alleys, movie theatres, etc.).

Job Description
Our staff members are expected to watch after and care for our consumers. A Direct Care Staff/ Driver is responsible for but not limited to the tasks below:
o Performing Routes to and from assigned consumer routes using the program Passenger vans.
o Performing Vehicle Inspections and recording mileage each day
o Driving to and from daily activities with varieties of staff and consumers.
o Ensuring the safety of each consumer to and from each location. This includes being a in safe mental and physical state.
o Picking food/ heating food up for consumers.
o Completing daily notes, reports, and activities based on the ISP provided from management.
o Ensuring the hygiene of each consumer assigned
o A 1 to 3 ratio is to be ensured with the exception of a lower ratio if designated by management.
o Carrying and looking after items of each assigned consumer
o Ability to use current technology (including tablets and phones provided by the company) to complete assignments.
Qualifications
Must have a clean driving record. DMV record is required
Drivers must be willing to operate a passenger van and/or a mini van. Driving Routes are subject to change based on program and consumer needs.
Ability to use a phone for driving directions, messaging, and for submitting timesheets.
Drivers are expected to provide caregiving to consumers as well as driving duties.
Ability to write and speak fluently in English in order to complete daily notes per Regional Center Guidelines.
Program Hours
Pickup and drop off times vary depending on our consumer's needs.
Our program hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 2pm.
Drivers work from 8:00-3:00
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
